Visa and entry information

Thailand is one of the world's most accessible destinations for international travellers. Citizens of many countries, including most European Union member states, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea, can enter Thailand for short visits without a visa. However, visa and entry regulations may change without notice, so we urge attendees to check the requirements applicable to their passports before making travel arrangements.

Visa on Arrival (VoA) and E-visas

For stays up to 15 days, Visa on Arrival (VoA) is available to citizens of certain eligible countries, allowing travellers to obtain a visa at designated Thai entry points. Conditions, permitted duration of stay, and eligibility may vary. For longer stays, delegates can apply for an E-visa.

You can check online whether you need a visa, determine which type of visa is required, and apply through the official Thailand e-Visa Portal. The portal lets you check visa requirements, complete an application, upload documents, and pay any applicable fees online.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

All international visitors are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) 3 days before their arrival date in Thailand. This is a mandatory online registration and applies regardless of whether a visa is required.
