Travel to Bangkok

Arriving in Bangkok by aeroplane

For delegates flying into Thailand, the closest airports are Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), both of which provide extensive international and regional connections and are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour from the conference venue, depending on traffic. Bangkok is well connected to major cities across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond, making it easily accessible for international delegates. The city's airport rail links, taxis, ride-hailing services, and expressways provide convenient transport options between the airports and central Bangkok.

Arriving in Bangkok by train

Bangkok is well connected to Thailand's national railway network, making it accessible not only by air but also by long-distance train services from across the country. Intercity and overnight trains operated by the State Railway of Thailand connect Bangkok with major regional destinations such as Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya, Phuket (via connecting services), and the northeastern provinces.

Most long-distance services now arrive at Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal, Bangkok's main railway station, which serves as the country's primary hub for modern intercity rail travel. From the station, delegates can easily continue their journey to the conference venue by taxi or ride-hailing services, with typical travel times to central Bangkok locations ranging from 20 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Travelling by train offers a sustainable, comfortable and scenic alternative to flying, particularly for attendees already within Thailand or travelling from nearby regions.
