For delegates flying into the UK, the closest airports are London Heathrow (LHR) and Birmingham (BHX), which are about 1 hour from Oxford. The airports of London Gatwick (LGW), London City Airport (LCY), London Luton (LTN), and London Stansted (STN) are between 1.5 and 3 hours from Oxford.

Train – Trainline for trains to Oxford and to book tickets and see journey times. You will need to take the Heathrow express to London Paddington and change for services on to Oxford.
Taxi – British Airport Transfers
You can travel from Birmingham airport by coach, train or taxi. Our recommendations are as follows:
Coach – National Express
Train – Cross Country train service provides a direct train to Oxford once an hour. It takes approximately 1 hour. Please use National Rail to book tickets and see journey times (recommended)
Taxi - Airport Taxis
You can travel from Gatwick airport by coach, train or taxi. Our recommendations are as follows:
Coach – The Airline coach service or the National Express (recommended)
Train – Trainline for trains to Oxford and to book tickets and see journey times. You will need to change at Reading Train Station for services on to Oxford.

Coach – Oxford Tube direct to Oxford (recommended)

You can travel from London to Oxford on either a coach, train or taxi. Our recommendations are as follows:
Coach – from London to Oxford and return on the Oxford Tube service, which runs 24 hours a day.
Train – London Marylebone and London Paddington stations both serve Oxford. It is advised to book tickets in advance via National Rail (recommended)
Taxi – London Oxford Taxis
We recommend using Oxford Train Station (not Oxford Parkway, which is on the outskirts of Oxford, not in the city centre) or Park-and-Ride services when travelling to Oxford. The Thornhill and Seacourt Park-and-Ride services stop just outside the Examination Schools (Queen's Lane stop). The nearest city centre car park is St Clements, 10 minutes' walk away.
